This is the personal blog of Robert Hof. Well, one of us. The guy who does stuff with the Internet. The Robert “W”, as opposed to the George W. No relation, either genetically or philosophically.

Like most people, I have a few different interests. Money and Food seem to be the two recurring themes. Computers used to be up there, but as they have been the source of my income since 1995, I’m less enthralled with the idiot boxes than I used to be. I guess you could call them a means to an end.

There are several Robert Hofs and Rob Hofs online. Judging by the fact that I am nowhere near the top of the list, I’m lucky to have roberthof.com… So sorry to the rest of you. Give me $$$$$ and this can be yours. Ha. Joke lang.

A long time ago, I used to live in Bermuda, and the writing bug got a hold of me. I wrote two articles for Escape Artist and they were relatively well received. They’re still available here and here. I’m back in Canada now, so I’m afraid I don’t have anything new to add, other than if you get a chance to be an expat for a few years, do it! It was a great experience, and I would recommend it to anyone.
